Since its first official meeting in London in 1968, under the presidency of Allan Jacobs, the Club has brought together people from many disciplines to advance understanding of iron in health and disease. Today, we continue this tradition by encouraging scientific dialogue, supporting new generations of researchers and professionals, and promoting knowledge that can benefit both science and society.
